Gira Sol Existing LandGira Sol encompasses a 200 acre parcel, situated 30 miles east of Tijuana and 20 miles south of the U.S./Mexico border on the road to Ensenada from Tecate in the Valley of the Palms. Valley of the Palms is an agriculturally dominated river valley that feeds into the Tijuana River and is known for its production of barley, olives, grapes & dairy products. The valley community or “pueblo” is inhabited predominantly by ranchers, operating family farms passed on through generations.

Exponential growth of Tijuana, population of the metropolitan area is currently estimated at over 1.6 million. Just south of San Diego it is the busiest border city in the world, with an estimated 90,000 people crossing it a day. As the population of Tijuana spreads so will its need for infrastructure, which will open up the valley to development, industry, and tourists. Nearby Ensenada is a major port for cruise ships, half a million tourists dock here annually.
